In making a preliminary examination of coast protection works proposed by the Sligo County Council for Cliff Road, Enniscrone, the Commissioners of Public Works have found that remedial works will be much more costly and complicated than the county council envisaged. The examination of the proposal is proceeding but I cannot at this stage say whether works could commence in the next financial year.
