The answer is "No".

Neither my Department nor any of the bodies under its aegis has any plans for the acquisition or sale of any property of the type referred to.

My Department does not own any site or land in County Meath. As the Deputy is, no doubt, aware the North Eastern Health Board has numerous properties in that county. There are no proposals before me for a change in the use of any of the properties in question. On receipt of a request from the Deputy the board will, I am sure, provide details of the use to which each is at present being put and inform him whether any change in use is contemplated.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 250 and 265 together. My Department has no sites or lands in County Meath nor has it any plans for the acquisition or sale of properties in that county. There are no semi-State bodies under the aegis of my Department.

My Department does not hold any property in County Meath and it has no plans for the acquisition of property in that county.

As regards the State bodies under the aegis of my Department, the purchase, sale and use of lands or property are under statute matters falling within their responsibility and the particulars requested are not available in my Department.

No change is contemplated in the use of any of these lands and sites. My Department has no plans at present for the acquisition of properties in County Meath or for the sale of any of the properties owned there.

There are no semi-State bodies under the aegis of my Department.

The Minister for Finance has no plans for the acquisitions of properties in County Meath nor for the disposal of any property at present in his ownership in that county.

Full particulars of properties owned in County Meath by the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department are not available to me but the great majority of these bodies have no property in the county. I am not aware of plans by any of these bodies to sell or acquire any properties in the county.

On 31st December, 1971, the latest date for which statistics are readily available, the Forest and Wildlife Service of my Department had proceedings for the acquisition of 88 properties in County Meath containing 1,703 acres in all for State afforestation purposes.

The service has no plans for the sale of any of its properties in County Meath.

My Department does not hold any land in County Meath nor has it any plans to acquire land in that county.

There are no State-bodies operating under the aegis of my Department.

Neither my Department nor any of the bodies under its aegis owns sites or lands in County Meath; nor, apart from the intention of the IDA to acquire a site for an advance factory at Kells, County Meath, have they any plans for the acquisition or sale of properties in that county.

My Department have no such plans.

Neither my Department nor any semi-State body under my control has any plans for the acquisition or sale of property in County Meath. In so far as the local authorities are concerned, there is no information available in my Department of any plans they may have for the purchase of properties. The urban district councils of Navan and Ceanannus Mór operate purchase schemes for the sale of houses owned by them and Meath County Council are drawing up a similar scheme. The housing authorities also have provided or are providing developed sites for sale to persons wishing to provide houses of their own at Navan, Trim, Athboy, Oldcastle, Ceanannus Mór, Drumconrath and Castletown.

My Department have plans for the acquisition of some properties in County Meath all of which will be required for the purpose of extending the telecommunications network. The Department does not at present contemplate selling any of its properties in that county.

Radio Telefís Éireann, the only semi-State body under my Department's aegis, has informed me that it has no plans for the acquisition or sale of property in County Meath.

There are no sites or lands such as are described in the first part of the question: the remaining parts of the question do not, therefore, arise.

The Department of Labour or the semi-State bodies under its aegis do not own any site or land in County Meath.

Longwood Garda Station together with the Post Offices at Navan and Ceannanus Mor are vested in the Minister for Finance. No change in their use is contemplated at present.

Full particulars of properties owned in County Meath by the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department are not available to me but the great majority of these bodies have no properties in the county. I am not aware of plans by any of these bodies to sell or acquire properties in the county.

State Forest statistics are not maintained on a county basis. The major portions of two State forests totalling 3,053 acres in all are situated in County Meath. No change in the use of these lands is planned.

The ownership of the sites of Trim, Navan and Kells Garda stations is vested in the Minister for Justice. No change in the use of these sites is contemplated.
