Vol. 259 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Corporation Schemes.

129.

asked the Minister for Local Government what schemes submitted by Limerick Corporation are still awaiting sanction in his Department and when he proposes to sanction them.

Two specific proposals for the provision of public lighting which were submitted on the 16th December, 1971 are at present under examination. There are no other specific proposals from the Limerick Corporation before my Department. I cannot say at this stage, when a decision on these two proposals will be issued but there will be no avoidable delay. A general request for an increased Road Fund grant for 1972-73 was forwarded on 1st December and is under consideration.
