Vol. 259 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Companies Revenue Loss.

44.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the percentage revenue loss incurred by Irish business and industrial companies with branches and subsidiaries in Northern Ireland, due to the current troubles in Northern Ireland; and if he will indicate whether or not there is any method whereby these companies can be recompensed.

There is no information available to me to indicate the percentage loss of revenue which may have been incurred in cases of the type mentioned by the Deputy. There are no State funds from which compensation could be paid in any such cases.
