Vol. 259 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Aer Lingus Services.

10.

Mr. O'Donnell

asked the Minister for Transport and Power whether Aer Lingus propose to reorganise or reduce their United Kingdom and European services; and, if so, why.

Aer Lingus do not propose to reduce their cross-channel and European services. In accordance with normal practice, they will from time to time review the situation on all routes so as to organise their services in the best way possible to meet traffic demands.

Mr. O'Donnell

There is a dispute at the moment between the Spanish Government and the Minister for Transport and Power regarding the question of a bilateral air agreement between Spain and Ireland. Will this have repercussions for Aer Lingus?

I am not aware of that.

It is a separate question.
