I understand that both CIE and the promoters have given full information about the proposed arrangements to the workers and the trade unions concerned. Discussions between these parties are in progress and I cannot say what the outcome will be. My understanding also is that the proposed arrangements are expected to give greater viability to the enterprise and, therefore, greater security to the workers.
