Vol. 260 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Offaly Estates.

18.

asked the Minister for Lands if it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire (a) the Cox estate, Roskeen and (b) the Guinan estate, Ballincloghan, Rahan, County Offaly.

The Land Commission have decided to carry out inspections of these two properties, aggregating 224 acres, and the requisite notices under the Land Act, 1965, were served on the owners in recent weeks.

Until such time as the inspections have been completed, it is not possible to indicate what action may follow in either case.
