The present average delay from the time of application to the sanctioning of Land Project applications is approximately 5.5 months. As the Land Project estimate for 1972-73 is in fact greater than the estimate a year ago for 1971-72, it is not expected that the estimates provision for 1972-73 will increase the waiting time in dealing with applications.
