Vol. 260 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Hours of Work Bill.

23.

asked the Minister for Labour if it is proposed to circulate the text of the proposed Hours of Work Bill during the present session.

The consultations on my Department's proposals for an Hours of Work Bill have been more complicated and more protracted than I had expected, with the result that I am not yet in a position to indicate when it will be possible to move for leave to introduce the Bill.

Will the Minister let me know when he reaches a decision?

I will, but the Deputy has a number of ways of finding out.

I would rather get it officially from the Minister.
