Vol. 260 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Finding of Body.

68.

asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware of the circumstances surrounding the finding of a dead body with head injuries in County Louth; and in the public interest if he will make a statement on the matter.

The method prescribed by law for inquiring into such matters and informing the public in-the outcome is the holding of a coroner's inquest. It would be altogether inappropriate for me to comment on a case which in the normal course will be the subject of such an inquest and which, additionally, may result in criminal proceedings.
