A proposal to accept a tender for 18 houses at Ballineen was received in my Department on 27th April, 1972 and is being examined. I will give my decision on it as soon as possible.
The Parliamentary Secretary will be aware that this scheme has been held up for a long time. In view of the number of people who have been waiting for houses for a considerable period, I would ask the Parliamentary Secretary to expedite a decision in this case.
I will do that.
