Vol. 261 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Postal Facilities.

77.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware of the present inadequacy of Phibsboro' post office, Dublin; and whether he has any plans for its improvement.

Work is already in progress on the reconstruction of Phibsboro' post office including the provision of a large and more modern public office. The work is due for completion in about two years.

78.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he has any plans for the provision of adequate posting facilities at the industrial estate, Finglas Road, Dublin.

Posting facilities at the estate are regarded as adequate to meet present traffic. The estate is, however, developing and the posting facilities will be further increased if and when traffic increases to an extent which would warrant doing so.
