The following are the numbers of persons who applied to AnCO for training in the periods indicated by the Deputy:
1,450 in 1970, 1,519 in 1971, 980 in the period 1st January, 1972, to 30th April, 1972.
Approximately 87 per cent of the persons who applied had been previously employed and were seeking retraining.
