Vol. 261 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Service Complaints.

160.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of complaints his Department have received in the past year with regard to serious overcrowding of telephone lines, delays in the answering of calls by operators and incidences of crossed lines.

The information requested is not available. To supply it, special records of the particular kinds of complaints mentioned would have had to be kept over the past year at every staffed exchange and post office throughout the country.
