The numbers on the live register for the period specified were:

Between the 25th February and the 26th May the numbers dropped from 78,194 to 70,758.
Does this represent the normal seasonal change or is it the result of the injection of the £20 million? Is the Parliamentary Secre tary yet in a position to state the increase in employment resulting from that?
