asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission acquired the McMahon estate, Daingean, County Offaly; the number of acres involved; and when it is proposed to divide it.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos, 28 to 30, together.

The Kelly and Gill properties were acquired by the Land Commission in 1966; possession of the McMahon holding passed to them in 1968. Composite proposals for these and other properties in the locality, aggregating 369 acres, have been approved and it is hoped to effect allocation of at least a substantial portion of the lands before the end of this month.
