132 of the candidates in the 1972 competition for the recruitment of mature students have been informed that places will be provided for them in the training colleges for the session 1972-74. A further 9 candidates have been informed that places will be provided for them if they succeed in obtaining grades at the leaving certificate examination 1972, which will enable them to satisfy the minimum educational standard required of entrants to the training colleges.
