It was hoped that the holdings referred to—with the exception of the Flanagan property— would have been allocated last spring. In the event this did not prove possible due to delay in obtaining possession of one of the holdings. Possession of all the lands has now passed to the Land Commission. Composite proposals have been drawn up for the disposal thereof together with a Colgan holding in the same area, aggregating 264 acres, and it is hoped to allot the lands within the next few months.
It is expected that the Flanagan holding will be allocated next spring.
