asked the Minister for Health the number of general practitioners participating in the choice of doctor scheme; and the average number of patients on the lists in the Dublin area.

The total number of general practitioners participating in the scheme in the country as a whole is 1,140. The number of participating doctors in Dublin city and county is 305 and they have an average of approximately 380 patients each.
