Meath County Council's proposal to accept a tender for the first stage of this scheme was received in my Department on 31st May last and was approved by me on 28th September, 1972. The council's application for a loan to meet the cost of the scheme is under consideration.
How long will it be before the loan is approved?
I could not give any indication as to the length of time. The matter is under consideration and it should not take too long.
