Vol. 263 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Site Development.

95.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will introduce amending regulations to provide for an increase in the capital cost limit for subsidy purpose applicable to developed housing sites as the present limit of £450, equivalent to a subsidy of £150 per site, is considered inadequate having regard to the enormous increases in housing costs since the limit was fixed in 1967.

The Deputy will have observed from my statement yesterday that the subsidy of £150 per site has now been doubled.
