Vol. 264 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mentally Handicapped Education Facilities.

28.

asked the Minister for Education what steps his Department is taking to provide special education facilities for mildly handicapped children in County Clare.

It is anticipated that a special school for mildly handicapped children will be recognised in Ennis from a date early in 1973 when accommodation for it becomes available consequent on the completion of a new building for the ordinary national school for boys and the resultant vacation of some suitable existing classrooms and ancillary accommodation.

Question No. 29 postponed.
