Vol. 265 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Galway Field.

25.

Mr. Kitt

andMr. Hussey asked the Minister for Lands when it is expected that the town field comprising about 77 acres situated at Barneswellgrove, Mountbellew, County Galway and which was acquired three years ago, will be divided.

(Cavan): Possession of the lands referred to was obtained by the Land Commission in January, 1971.

Some six and a half acres have already been allotted to the Galway County Council, five acres as an industrial site and one and a half acres for use as a cemetery.

Pending completion of the necessary inquiries on the ground it is not possible to indicate just now when allotment of the balance of the lands will take place.
