Vol. 265 No. 12

Ceisteann—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Housing.

23.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of the Cork County Council site at Passage West (a) when work on the local authority houses will commence (b) when developed sites will be made available for private building and (c) when the new cemetery will be available.

A revised layout plan is being prepared by the county council for the proposed local authority housing scheme and the development of private sites at Passage West. I am not in a position to say when work on them will be commenced. I have approved the council's proposals for the provision of a new cemetery. It would be a matter for the local authority to say when it will be available.
