The Deputy will be familiar with the White Paper on The Accession of Ireland to the European Communities laid by the previous Government before each House of the Oireachtas in January, 1972. In particular, the Deputy will be familiar with chapter 5 of the White Paper which made an assessment of the economic effects of accession.
