Vol. 267 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ability of Irish Workers.

29.

asked the Minister for Labour if he has any comment to make on the remarks of a person (name supplied), a foreign director of a Shannon company, regarding the ability of Irish workers and their training.

I understand from Press reports that the board of the company dissociated itself from the remarks passed by one of the directors, and dismissed the person in question. In the circumstances I do not consider it necessary for me to make any comment.
