The total number of redundancies notified under the Redundancy Payments Acts to my Department for the three months April, May and June, 1973 was 2,033, 1,400 men and 633 women. This shows a reduction of 910 on the number of redundancies notified for the months of April, May and June, 1972 which was 2,943, 1,964 men and 979 women.
