asked the Taoiseach if arrangements are being made for him and other members of the Government to meet members recently elected to the Northern Ireland Assembly; and if he will make a statement in the matter.

As I stated recently, members of the Government are prepared to meet and discuss matters of common interest with the political groups in Northern Ireland. Members of the Social Democratic and Labour Party visited Dublin last week and a number of my colleagues and I had a worthwhile exchange of views with them.
