Vol. 267 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Social Welfare Benefits Income Limit.

80.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare when he proposes to abolish the income limit in respect of social welfare contributions and benefits; and if he is yet in a position to make a statement on its implications for health service benefits.

The date on which the income limit for compulsory insurance is to be abolished has not yet been determined. The second part of the Deputy's question is not a matter for the Department of Social Welfare.
