Vol. 267 No. 11

Written Answers. - New House Grant.

309.

asked the Minister for Local Government why a person (name supplied) in County Cork has not been sanctioned for the higher rate of new house grant; and if he will investigate the case as this person's income is within the prescribed limit.

A new house grant of £350 at the special rate was allocated to the applicant on 3rd April last. This was the appropriate amount of grant in view of his income but the case is being re-examined to see if he is entitled to more. The Deputy will be informed of the outcome.
