It is proposed to erect a new national school at Dromina Rathluirc, County Cork. The Commissioners of Public Works are at present considering the suitability of the site which has been offered by the school manager.

It is not possible, at this stage, to say when work on the building of the school will commence.

134.

asked the Minister for Education when he expects that work will commence on the erection of the new boys' national school at Passage West, County Cork.

Plans have been prepared for a new national school, having accommodation in five classrooms and a general purposes room at Passage West, County Cork; and negotiations with regard to State grant and local contribution towards the cost of the school have been completed. When satisfactory title to the site of the proposed new school has been furnished, the grant will be sanctioned and the further arrangements for the erection of the school will proceed.
