Vol. 267 No. 12

Written Answers. - County Dublin School.

141.

asked the Minister for Education the number of classrooms and the number of pupils in Scoil Naomh Peadar, Limekiln Road, Walkinstown, County Dublin; and the pupil/teacher ratio in the school.

The school has already 32 classrooms and it has now been decided that four additional prefabricated classrooms be provided as from September next.

The average enrolment for the quarter ended 30th June, 1973, was 1,404 and the staffing was Principal and 32 assistants, giving a pupil-teacher ratio of 1 to 42. The revised staffing arrangements introduced as from 1st July, 1973, will result in a new pupil/teacher ratio for the school of 1 to 39.
