Vol. 267 No. 12

Written Answers. - Treatment of Prisoners.

174.

asked the Minister for Justice whether prisoners convicted under the Offences Against the State Acts in all places of detention are treated equally; and, if not, why.

There are minor differences in conditions as between one place and another which are unavoidable because of the accommodation available in and the custodial requirements of these places but otherwise all prisoners are treated equally.
