Vol. 267 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers (Resumed). - Duty Free Shops.

61.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the turnover for the year 1972-73 for the Shannon duty free shop and the Dublin Airport duty free shop, respectively.

For 1972-73 the turnover in the Shannon duty-free shop, including the mail order department, was £3,781,000. For the same period the turnover in the Dublin Airport duty-free shop was £261,077.

I should have asked the Minister for the figures for the previous year.

For the previous year, at Shannon the figure was £3,686,000; for Dublin, the figure was £218,000.
