asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the total grants paid to each firm which makes soft drinks in the country for the past few years; and the names of the firms.

In the last three years, the Industrial Development Authority have paid grants totalling £331,122 to seven firms making soft drinks. It is the established procedure to give details of grants paid to individual firms only where these have been published in the IDA annual reports. The payments so published are as follows:
