4.

5.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will ascertain from Kerry County Council if it is intended to erect houses on council-owned land at Ballyclare, Glenbeigh and, if so, the number of houses and when work will start.

6.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will ascertain from Kerry County Council if it is intended to erect more houses in Glenbeigh, County Kerry and, if so, the number of houses and when it is expected that work will commence.

7.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of houses that Kerry County Council intend to build on the Godfrey estate at Milltown, County Kerry, in addition to the new houses and apartments which are to be built on the approaches to that estate; and when it is proposed to build these extra houses.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 together.

As I have given housing authorities responsibility for the planning and execution of all housing schemes of up to 60 houses, it is a matter for them to make the necessary arrangements for the planning and execution of these schemes. In the circumstances, I suggest that the Deputy should make his inquiries directly to Kerry County Council.

8.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of houses that Kerry County Council intend to erect in Killorglin, County Kerry and the number to be erected as a follow-up.

As I explained to the Deputy in reply to his Questions Nos. 58, 59 and 60 of 8th November, 1973, the National Building Agency, at the request of Kerry County Council, are preparing documents for 34 local authority houses, six houses for industrial workers and some private sites at Killorglin. Any decision as to the number of further houses to be provided there is a matter for the council.
