A survey of the craft industry in the non-designated areas, which was carried out for the Industrial Development Authority by the Irish Productivity Centre, has been completed recently. This is being associated with the survey in respect of the designated areas, which was previously carried out for the Central Development Committee. The survey recommendations are now being examined by the Departments concerned and I am not yet in a position to make any statement on the recommendations.
