It is estimated that the average price for dried native wheat of this year's harvest will be in the region of £73 a tonne. It is not possible at this stage to give an average price for imported wheat for the current cereal year but prices quoted for such wheat at present are over £90 a tonne.
That is a change from our experience in the past.
