asked the Minister for Lands if forestry officials have experienced any difficulty in their work because of squirrels.

Cavan): Damage by squirrels is not unusual in plantations where they occur. A certain degree of loss is tolerated but if serious damage to plantations arises, steps are then taken to control the squirrels.
