Vol. 270 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Death.

34.

asked the Minister for Health if he will investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a person in Cork (details supplied).

I understand that the death has been reported to the coroner and that an inquest will be held. In these circumstances I have no further comment to make at this stage.

I should like the the Minister to give an assurance that when the inquest is over his Department will carry out a full investigation into this matter.

I could not give that undertaking until I see the coroner's report.
