Vol. 271 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Free Travel and Electricity.

52.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will consider granting free electricity and free travel to women who are in receipt of a widow's army service pension.

The widows of military service pensioners are already in receipt of free travel. The extension of the free electricity scheme would be a matter for the Minister for Finance in the context of the budget.

The Minister has been running away from giving the full information on Question No. 51. We happen to know what it is.

One thing the Minister will not do is run away.

He will fly away though.

(Interruptions.)
