Twenty two prospecting licences in respect of areas in County Kerry were issued under the Minerals Development Acts, 1940 and 1960. Eleven of these licences have since been surrendered; the remaining 11 are still in force. Particulars of these licences other than one issued since 1st July, 1973, are set out in the half yearly reports laid before the Oireachtas in accordance with the provisions of the Minerals Development Acts, 1940 and 1960.
