Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers (Resumed). - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

19.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have approved a grant in respect of a sewerage scheme for Kilflynn village, Tralee, County Kerry.

20.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have received proposals from Kerry County Council in connection with the provision of a sewerage scheme at Kilflynn; and, if so, if he will state the present position in respect of this scheme.

21.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have approved a grant in respect of a sewerage scheme for Kilfenora village, Tralee, County Kerry.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to take Questions Nos. 19, 20 and 21 together.

No proposals have been submitted to my Department to date. The question of finance does not therefore arise.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have permitted Kerry County Council to commence the head works in respect of Aughacashla group water scheme, Castlegregory, County Kerry.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have received proposals from Kerry County Council in connection with the provision of headworks for the Aughacashla water scheme; and, if so, if he will state the present position in respect of this scheme.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 22 and 23 together.

I have asked the local authority to review their proposals for this headworks and trunk main scheme in the light of likely future developments in the area.

24.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have received the revised plans in connection with the proposed sewerage scheme in respect of Fenit, County Kerry; if so, when the proposals will be approved; and when tenders will be invited to carry out the work.

The revised proposals for this scheme were received in my Department on the 29th March and are at present being examined.
