Vol. 272 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tramore Dispensary.

7.

asked the Minister for Health if he will take immediate steps to renovate the dispensary in Tramore, County Waterford; and if he will make a statement in the matter.

8.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that the district nurse who attends at the dispensary in Tramore, County Waterford, is anxious that living accommodation be made available to her in Tramore; and that if the present dispensary were renovated it would resolve the problem and lead to a better service for the residents of the area.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to reply to Questions Nos. 7 and 8 together. The renovation of the dispensary in Tramore and the provision of housing for the district nurse who serves Tramore are both matters which are primarily the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. No proposals regarding either matter have been submitted to my Department but I understand that they are being examined by the board.
