Vol. 273 No. 8

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath Petrol Station.

17.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if, in view of the fact that a certain oil company intends to cease supplying petrol and oil to the owner of a small rural petrol filling station in County Meath (details supplied) and is offering £30 as a form of compensation, he will take action in the matter as the plans of the company would cause much hardship to the person concerned.

As I explained in recent correspondence with the Deputy I have no longer any control over the distribution of petrol or oil but the case may be one for consideration by the Examiner of Restrictive Practices under the Restrictive Practices Act, 1972.
