Are we not proceeding with the debate we had this morning?
Committee on Finance. - Business of Dáil.
The Government would have been quite willing so to proceed but, after I spoke to the Opposition Whip this morning, it was agreed business would finish on the completion of these Bills.
I understand one of our Deputies, Deputy Denis Gallagher, was informed that he would be taken on the Adjournment this evening. He is here waiting to raise the matter.
Acting Chairman
Apparently he did not give any notification that he would raise it tonight.
I apologise. I was informed by the Ceann Comhairle's office that I could have a choice of raising it last night or today. I was not aware of the condition that it was necessary for me to inform the Ceann Comhairle today. I apologise.
The Dáil adjourned at 7.30 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, 9th July, 1974.
