My Department are in correspondence with Cork County Council in regard to a site which has been suggested as suitable for a community school in Carrigaline. The matter of the provision of such a school is also to be further discussed at the next meeting in September of the Cork advisory council on secondary education facilities for the area.
In the circumstances I am not in a position at this stage to say when work on the erection of the school may commence.
