I move:
That notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Orders the following arrangements shall apply in the debate on confidence in the Government:—
(a) the speech of the member of the Government opening the debate and the speech of the first speaker from the Fianna Fáil Party shall not exceed one hour each;
(b) the speech of each member called on other than the final two speakers shall not exceed 45 minutes; and
(c) the final speaker from the Fianna Fáil Party shall be called on not later than 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday next and a member of the Government shall be called on not later than 9.30 p.m. to conclude the debate.
