Vol. 275 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Oil Subsidy.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will approve an extension of the national oil subsidy for the first six months of 1975 to enable growers to plan their production programme for 1975.

This subsidy was specifically given for the second half of 1974 only and there is no arrangement for its continuance in 1975.

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware there was a shortfall in the production of Nitrogenous fertilisers last year? Will he see there will not be a scarcity next spring because his Minister came in here and told us it was 50,000 tons short last spring.

There is some confusion.

The Parliamentary Secretary skipped a few.

Did the Parliamentary Secretary answer Question No. 14.
