The general question of giving information to the public in matters relating to drugs is one for the Minister for Health.
The Department of Health have drawn up a panel of persons qualified to speak on all aspects of drugs and I understand from the Garda authorities that three members of the drug squad who are on this panel are made available to that Department as required.
